National Stress Awareness Day


Right now, Medicare Insurance agents are at the height of their busy season with AEP in full swing. For some independent insurance agents, this can lead to an increased stress level. During these periods, it’s important to remember to take care of yourself and learn the best ways for you, as an individual, to manage stress.

As simple as these tasks may look on paper, they are necessary to remember and implement to reduce your stress level:

  1. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day.
  2. Make time to do an activity you enjoy doing.
  3. Make yourself and your health a priority: get plenty of rest, eat well, and limit alcohol consumption during stressful periods.
  4. Spend time with those close to you; talking with others offers therapeutic results.
