Meet the Team: Dan Rhen, Broker Sales

Have you met Dan Rhen? Dan is part of the Broker sales team here at UIG and has been with us for just about 3 years. Dan was in retail sales for over 25 years, so he is well versed in the sales funnel and has some great insight for agents! He’s a great addition to the team and provides us with plenty of baseball facts, Star Wars information, and of course, movie quotes!

We asked Dan a few questions to help our agents get to know him better:

Q: What’s your go-to productivity trick?
A: Creating a to-do list. Put everything on it including tomorrow’s to-do list. Then just start working through the list. It keeps me on track.

Q: Are you an early bird or a night owl?
A: Night owl.

Q: What is something that energizes you at work?
A: Hearing about an agent’s success and helping them get there. I have always loved helping people find their success. It’s the coach in me!

Q: If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something what would it be?
A: Technology, I go to my kids for everything.

Q: What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit of?
A: Eating better.

Q: What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?
A: Cooking, especially on my grill.

Q: Who would play you in a movie about your life?
A: Kevin James.

Q: If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
A: Google, CBS Sports, and The Weather Channel.

Q: What trend do you hope makes a comeback?
A: Decency (and men’s suits that are not so tight!).

Q: What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?
A: Library of Congress (I know a bit of a geek answer).

Q: What’s your favorite sport to watch and which team do you root for?
A: Baseball and the Detroit Tigers.
